In early 2018, David Yurman approached Splashlight to execute the new creative direction for their website. The concept presents the product in a directional light in each view, which creates a beautiful, natural elongated shadow — highlighting the iconic DY product in the most flattering way.
Starting in April, we photographed every product on the website for a summer relaunch. Over 70 consecutive shoot days, we photographed 2,000+ products, totaling over 6,500 views in total. I directed a crew of 15, working with a creative director, 2 additional art directors, and a lead photographer. The client was very pleased with the result, and we succeeded in elevating jewelry e-commerce photography to even further heights. Below are some selected highlights.
